Mamdani so far has been smart enough to know how much power he does and does not have. This was part of what caused Mark Milley to be grilled by Congress. The reason the prices of everything are rapidly rising. Gas, medicine, food, essentials, in an economy that's already cratering with mass unemployment and mass alienation, is so that Israel can act with impunity as it invades Lebanon. American forces bomb the strait, bomb Iran, bomb trade vessels, to maintain Israel's ability to commit genocide.
How would you react if American-Israeli Forces rolled into your town, like footage here shows them rolling into Aitaroun, Lebanon? Maintaining Israeli expansion is why the US Air Force dropped a bomb on an Iranian Elementary School, killing 175 children, something Bill Maher said was "the cost of emancipation".
Imagine what the money being spent to destroy Lebanon, to bomb school girls, to commit genocide, could do if it was spent on our communities?
