So Trump is confirming in another deranged rant that this "ballroom" contains bomb shelters, medical facilities, top secret military instillations, and missile proof steel among other things

This is just a straight up Fuhrerbunker. He knows the endgame is soon

everyone who says this rediscovers marxist practice when forced to fight

>>2783837
that's the position of the physiocrats from the late 1700s who adam smith refuted, the position that value comes from labor is the position of adam smith which marx refuted but for some reason people think smith's position is marx's position

>>2783813
IIRC I think by tearing up the East Wing he also did damage to the previous White House bunker located underneath it.

>>2783863
Yeah but now it's like a super bunker, and the whole building is missile and drone proof. And he plans on holding his inauguration in there. Fucked up times we live in.

Trump's still beefing with the Pope today, told reporters that the Pope supposedly "wants Iran to have a nuclear weapon"

he did this shit, knowing very well it would affect every one in the US.
and yet, went all the way through.

>>2783837
labor is a product of the natural world itself. life comes from the natural world, and life does labor. as for value, it's a social construct in an economic context. the value form. it's related closely to the commodity form, and is realized upon sale as the socially necessary labor time required to create that commodity

>>2783875
you think science is pretentious but how are people supposed to fix the problems of capitalism if they don't even understand what it is, how it came into existence, and what its key contradictions are. for the past several threads you've been antagonizing people with short low effort posts but you don't actually care about anything.

reminder that the guy denouncing marxism with low effort posts is a guy who by his own admission is only on here because he hurt his foot and is bored and came from a petty bourgeois family and he feels like taking out his anger on random strangers

>>2783881
so your goal is to antagonize everyone and understand nothing

>>2783884
ok kid

Sums up 90% of christians pretty well: zero belief in their faith and scripture, just casual pop culture knowledge of it to use it as an excuse to kill and oppress those you don't like.

>>2783890
Almost like being a westoid is the primary contradiction and not race, religion, or economic class within said occident

>>2783782
Yeah because Marxist economists are full of hope and joy for the future.

>>2783890
It's a uniquely American affectation, honestly. The combination of the the appearance of Christianity but combining it with pop cultural tropes and a general bending of the rules and doctrine to fit whatever American foreign policy is, along with extreme othering and ostracization of anybody who dissents. It's like a joke except if you laugh at it you get sent to jail

>>2783899
Also something a “communist revolution” wouldn’t fix even if it was possible

>>2783867
Oh he's done more than back talk him. Apparently he ordered the government tore up a contract with a Catholic charity that helps migrant children.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/conormurray/2026/04/16/trump-pulls-funding-for-catholic-charity-that-helps-migrant-children-amid-clash-with-pope/

Unironically think Trump might be the first President to try taxing churches, but only Catholic ones. I mean on one hand it would be an act of separation of Church and State, kind of, on the other it's demanding that Churches even more rigidly stand by the State and be mouthpieces of it.

>>2783913
Here’s the theory, non human animals will pick up the pieces and form their own societies when extinction rightly happens to this dogshit pig ape hybrid species

>>2783912
The difference is euroids were lying, being cynical, and knew and understood this, ameroids actually believe their own cons, that’s what makes a great conman

>>2783916
Ah sorry for not replying, just figured we generally agreed on most things. Gotta get ready for work though.

Anyways I just see the "Butlerian Jihad" comments as ironic. People keep bringing up the "Sorelian" aspects of it, but I think while Sorel could see the Butlerian Jihad as perhaps being the framework for a wider violent myth, as of right now its more an ironic expression of resentment under Capitalism. Primitive anger, in a sense, masking itself under irony.

I don't really fret over people becoming luddites about AI, I'm mostly neutral. I see the technology as maybe having some practical applications but under current social conditions people mostly just see the negative, capitalist fueled aspects of it.

It's not the reactionary agenda that's unique to Americans, if that were just it then it would be manegable. It's the specific combination of Christian aesthetics with obnoxious pop culture references that basically become on and the same thing that's unique to Americans. Thanks. Hope your day goes well too, dude.

>>2783923
See you'd think that, but I've heard (admittedly anecdotes) from some white collar workers that AI actually made them work more, not less. Apparently some dumbass executives demand they do everything through it, so they'll have ChatGPT I guess whip out an email that could've taken them maybe a minute to write themselves, then they have to correct any hallucinations in data, and apparently execs will make constant changes to shit like expected formatting and workflows entirely on the basis of "AI said this is better"

I winder what the next dutch tulip will be after AI, maybe we send all the downwardly mobile to Mexico to settle and annex land like we did with Texas

>>2783930

>>2783930
>See you'd think that, but I've heard (admittedly anecdotes) from some white collar workers that AI actually made them work more, not less.
all automation ultimately does that. if you aren't fired you become part of a skeleton crew who is forced to work longer hours using technology you hate to produce more stuff faster. another paradox is that decreasing our reliance on certain types of fuel has actually increased our consumption of it

>>2783931
>I winder what the next dutch tulip will be after AI
there won't be another dutch tulip because we'll be forcing everyone to work on de-desertification and de-salination projects or fight in the water wars

>>2784050
Israel is white supremacist and jewish nationalist. Supremacism and nationalism are different takes on racism. They want a nation of and for Jews only but they also want the white Jews to be supreme over the non white Jews. People point out the white supremacy part more often because that's a term that actually has rhetorical teeth. Calling Israel "Jewish supremacist" (not even technically correct btw, they are Jewish nationalist which is worse) doesn't hit because there is no established history of interrogating Jews as the favored identity of oppressive systems (because historically that is relatively new). What there is a well developed history of is antisemitism, which is what you will primarily tap into by invoking "Jewish [blank]ism."

Bad Empanada is, unfortunately, rather dim and socially inept so the finer points of political rhetoric are lost on him. He is also a product of his occupation, which is to say he makes more money the more incendiary and retarded he acts.

Always defend yourself because as long as you fight for what is right, then you will be vindicated. Like how castro attack barracks and defend himself in court.

>>2784090
but guess what, she lost and Trump is president now (second time) so your strategy to le stop fascism is garbage
its funny that you fancy yourself some sort of pragmatist but you are the complete opposite

>>2784092
Nah, the strategy works fine. Thing is we unfortunately have backstabbers like you who try their hardest to make sure Republicans win and then complain from the comfort of your living room that we didn’t manifest an army from thin air.

If Trump takes Cuba you’ll do nothing because you like to dress yourself up like a radical. You’ll laugh if Trump takes Cuba and then whine that the CPUSA, which has objectively done more to try to prevent that exact outcome than you, isn’t going to destroy itself doing a suicide charge of a factory.

>>2784090
But fetterman won and thats exactly what happened. Stop trying to be smart, because you arent. Your deception isnt smart when its as plain as day like this. Cpusa supported fetterman, who wants to destroy cuba.

>>2783956
That’s a really redundant and stupid idea.
They’ve basically already have done this before. A bunch of bishops broke with the pope on slavery in the 1800s. There has always been an “American Branch” of Catholicism that does whatever tf it wants because it’s really difficult to defrock or censor anyone due to church bureaucracy and politics. Hell, they still can’t get rid of all their pedophiles.

>>2784096
If the yanks occupy cuba, then proles are correct to blame cpusa. Because cpusa supported fetterman, who wants to destroy cuba. Cpusa went out of its way to support fetterman, and therefore they are complicit in attacks against cuba.

>>2784096
>Nah, the strategy works fine.
Trump has gotten elected two times so experience is telling you otherwise
>Thing is we unfortunately have backstabbers like you who try their hardest to make sure Republicans win
I dont live in the US and I dont even have social media, there is no way I could be affecting your elections, but even if this paranoid excuse was true, your stretegy should contemplate the existence of these "backstabbers" you talk about, but since you are a dogmatist and not a pragmatist you won't adapt and you will keep demanding reality to conform to your demands

>>2784096

You’ll laugh if Trump takes Cuba and then whine that the CPUSA, which has objectively done more to try to prevent that exact outcome than you, isn’t going to destroy itself doing a suicide charge of a factory.
That first sentence is projection. That you resort to compare acomplishments of a single man to a party that existed for century shows how dishonest and cynical and bankrupt you are and your party is.

>>2784109
>Trump is retarded enough and war mongering enough to take on the Millennium Challenge in Iran
<“Hurr you’re doing heccin great man theory!”
You’re using a vulgar understanding of Marxism to pretend that there’s absolutely zero human or individual agency.

And it’s especially stupid because you act in every other thread like “Oh, it’s just a matter of will”, that the reason there aren’t Red Guards bombing factories is that people are just consciously choosing not to. Trump and the GOP you treat like a force of nature and absolve of all wrongdoing, anyone on the left you treat like conscious collaborators. You’re ultimately a fucking pussy, you have no beliefs and don’t even attempt to do anything but punch left—cause the responsibility of actual belief is too much for you.

You’re drooling at the thought of people you can blame while you do fucking nothing. We at least tried to stop this. The blood of countless Iranians, Cubans, and Venezuelans is on your hands as much as it is on Trump’s you giddy little fascist.

weird cause i was watching dsa portland's content with mild curiosity and never saw anything

i helped raise money for solar panels tho

>>2784155
>raising money for solar panels for cuba is contributing to a counterrevolutionary organization

>>2784154
Huh, so basically just more blatant bullshit from Felix? Weird.

>>2784153
We allowed a Cuban minister and comrade to publish an article calling for people to vote against Trump in 2016, we’ve rallied people to “hands off Cuba” protests outside U.S. embassies, sent envoys to Cuba, and donated time and money to them. Yknow, actual work rather than writing fanfics about shooting DSA members.

Weird how your fake party does nothing. No munitions plants were bombed recently, but lemme guess: you had a struggle session of five people trying to come up with the most vicious slurs for the United $nakkkes of Amerikkka and that’s real practice and not some cringe nerd’s equivalent of a rap battle

>>2784159
i didn't send money to the DSA you fucking schizo

also "i yelled at some DSA people" is quite a long way off from "ambushing" them with "infantry"

>>2784159
>So you published an article in your paper (that no one reads)

Actually People’s World is fairly popular, one of the few communist papers that’s widely read and gets contributions from publicly known figures like Bernie Sanders.

>and waved some signs outside of an embassy. In other words, you did nothing.

You’re boasting about the fact you made a frown at some DSA people in a town hall. Allegedly, mind you, since you’re too scared to post a video cause of “fascists”… while supposedly publicly confronting those same “fascists.”

Weird circular logic there: “my party is gonna make a scene in public and then pray no one remembers us”

>>2784159
>with zero leverage and they predictably do nothing
its sad that you can't avoid being a weirdo because no one really has a counter argument to this very logical point you keep making but no one will listen since you ejaculated on a picture of Putin and now everytime someone offers similar criticism they get dismissed by association

>>2784163
>there’s no counterpoint to this!
I mean there’s an easy one: namely that the goal is to keep Republicans out of office so they can’t, yknow, start a war with Iran or launch an invasion of Cuba. Yknow, like what’s happening right now.

>>2784167
The issue is you’re handicapped when Obama kills an American citizen in Yemen or Biden does a genocide. Unlike the actual idiot I recognize the uniquely authoritarian party duopoly and how it limits everything outside itself.

>>2784167
I wasn't talking to your tailist ass, democrats started a fucking genocide, kill yourself for making the mission of your life to collaborate with them

The only way we get out of the constitution and the party duopoly is through military coup, even an outright reactionary one

>>2784170
You’re jerking off to the idea of Trump invading Cuba and whining about bad foreign policy from the Dems.

>>2784169
That’s why you don’t limit yourself to just presidential elections as your sole praxis and organize in addition to making sure the guy who wants to invade Iran stays out of power.

>>2784161
I'm like pretty sure this dude would try to kill Bernie.

>>2784167
how is stating your goal a counter argument to the fact that you have 0 leverage?

>>2784175
>rally people to vote against the open fascist
<they vote against the open fascist
>you succeeded
<the person who won instead of the fascist is a lib
>”BWAAAAAH! THEY ARENT NATIONALIZING THE BANKS! BWAAAAAAAAAAAH!”

The goal isn’t to leverage the democrats into becoming Communists, it’s to stop the open fascists from getting power. I swear some people here, if given a time machine to the last Weimar election, would consider it a greater priority to sabotage the SPD than to stop Hitler.

>>2784173
>You’re jerking off to the idea of Trump invading Cuba
lmao what the fuck are you talking about
>and whining about bad foreign policy from the Dems
starting a fucking white/jewish supremacist genocide goes beyond the regular "bad foreign policy" of your nazoid shithole country
get a grip retard
its crazy to me you never get banned for your democrat (genocide) apologism

Guys guys I got it, you see Felix's ambush was so successful that it King Crimson'd itself out of existence

>>2784179
>it’s to stop the open fascists from getting power
democrats are openly pro-genocide, pro-jewish ethnostate, they are openly pro-banderite, you are full of shit

I don't think it will matter squat if it's a Democrat of a Republican this round (or ever in the cold war, but w/e). Because whatever happens, the Dems will have "defeated" Trump. Orange man gone. They will have infinite consent to do literally anything, just as Obama.

Man, I can't wait to hear it's important to weigh the rapprochement to Cuba and Venezuela(still keeping the oil tho) against the Gaza gas chambers. And how much worse a Republican would have been. And how the next Republican hopeful is really the man in the high tower this time fr fr

>>2784181
>”le eeeeevil nazi aligned SPD”
Prove that the SPD winning in place of the Conservative coalition that brought Hitler to power would have resulted in Hitler coming to power anyways.

You can’t, of course. Because it wouldn’t have. You don’t have any argument, just some historically inherited resentment. You’re bitching about the SPDs repression when we can look and see what happened when the Nazis won.

>>2784186
“Democrats are pro this and pro that!”

For one Bandera is dead and gone, even the wildest dreams of the current knuckle draggers in Ukraine are undermined by the fact that their destroying their own country by not suing for peace with Russia. It’s not like they’re even capable of taking land for Lebensraum, it’s imperialist intrigue but not comparable to preventing Nazi Germany from rising.

Secondly the Trump admin, which you support to the hilt, not only is continuing the horrific policies in Gaza but expanding them to Lebanon and Iran.

Just stop feeding him.

>>2784228
You’re the one here actively saying it’s better for Hitler to come to power than the SPD to win an election. That you throw fascist accusations around while gleefully clearing a path for them is absurd.

Again, you lied and said the SPD leadership was untouched and unharmed so you can paint them as gleeful collaborators that would’ve nominated Hitler to power themselves. You’re doing this because to you it’s better for the Nazis to be in power than to associate with moderates.

You’re a fascist collaborator. Whenever there’s a fight to be had with the Right you’re no where to be found, but as soon as someone tries fighting on the Left you’re there to try to sabotage it.

>>2784233
Again, another obvious fucking lie. First you lie and say their leadership wasn’t killed and joined the Nazis, now you’re saying that “actually ONLY the KPD fought the Nazis, the SPD only fought communists”

>>2784238
Nope, the Iron Front for its faults still fought Nazis in the Street. The SPD also voted against the enabling act.

They literally fought them on the streets. Stop being such a child.

>>2784245
Simple: there are communists who learn from the idiocy of fighting moderates when fascists are a bigger threat, then there are fascist adjacent types like Felix who think when Fascists are growing stronger it’s time to clear the field for them.

>>2784245
because he has the same politics as the SPD

Of course you support that, better the Nazis then, gasp, liberals.

>>2784277

Weird how guilt transfers when you say “vote against the Nazis” but when you’ve got people striking with the Nazis and voting with them suddenly you try to say “well it’s complicated, it’s not real collaboration.”

You think that voting against Trump, when the only feasible option is a democrat, means that you carry the “sin” of what Democrats do, but think that voting with Nazis is totally acceptable.

Almost like you’re showing your true allegiance is to fascism.

I agree with picrel. U.S. voting is really voting for your favorite bourgeoisie. The US goverment has supported Israel for a long time, when it was owned by republicans and democrats, which contributed to U.S. imperialism in the middle east.

Today started out better than a lot of days. Fell asleep early, woke up early, knew it was gonna be a productive day. Knew it was gonna be a productive day, so let's go get some caffeine. Let's go get some cheap breakfast. Let's go on a little walk. Let's get out of the house, start the day off fresh. Let's go down to Circle K.

Now, Circle K is actually closer to me than 7-Eleven, and I typically go to 7-Eleven, but I learned recently about this $4 meal deal. You get a Monster Energy, hash brown, and a breakfast sandwich. For four bucks, it's a pretty good deal. Food and a pack of cigs for under $10 is a savior in the Epstein economy.

But the day shifted quick.

The workers? Friendly. Night shift just coming off the end of their shift, morning coming in, getting that changeover. Everyone's all smiles. Regulars walking in. All of them, might I add, being Black, because of the location the Circle K is in. "Oh, you had the baby?" "Oh yeah, I had it last week. I'm already back to work." Yep, that's how it goes. You know. The type of morning conversations that happen at a working-class convenience store.

So I order my $4 meal deal. "Oh, it's gonna be about 10 minutes on the hash browns. Do you mind waiting?" Alright. I don't have a problem waiting. It's no big deal at all. I got nothing else to do. I got plenty of time this morning. I'm in a good mood. I'm just gonna step outside and smoke a cigarette while I wait. No big deal.

Of course, within less than a minute of being outside smoking a cigarette, waiting on the food that I paid for, holding the bags of goods that I paid for, I'm met with the intercom.

You see, the Circle K is under live surveillance feed, and I'm sure there's somebody getting paid $80,000 a year to monitor the live stream. And the intercom comes up.

I'm conversating with a man outside. We're sharing a smoke. He's like, "Yeah, I thought I had enough pocket change to get a Polar Pop, but they went up a few cents, so I'm about to leave." You know, that's how it is. But we're conversating and sharing a smoke, as two people do. It's a good morning. It's a good interaction.

And the intercom, this is less than a minute of me being outside: "The man with the black shorts. You need to leave. The man with the yellow jacket. You need to leave. This is a no-loitering permitted zone. You are not permitted to be here. This is a no-loitering zone. You will be arrested if you do not leave."

Okay. So he leaves. He's clearly startled. Clearly upset.

And then it hits me. What about me, the man in the black shorts? What am I supposed to do? I'm standing there with bags in my hand. I paid for this food. They told me ten minutes on the hash browns. Ten minutes. It don't take ten minutes for the police to show up. All of a sudden, I got a risk calculus running through my head. Is it worth the risk of me standing out here? Am I willing to explain myself to an armed police officer who pulls up and sees me standing there? Am I willing to explain that I'm waiting on hash browns? That I'm a paying customer? That I haven't done anything wrong? Because we all seen the videos. Dozens of them. Hundreds of them. A thousand people a year get killed by the police in this country. A thousand. And I'm standing here trying to decide if I'm about to become a statistic over a breakfast sandwich.

The intercom has no idea I'm waiting on food. They can see the bags. They can see I'm holding merchandise. But they don't have contact with the store worker who told me it'd be ten minutes. They don't know. And they don't care. And the officer who shows up, he ain't gonna care either. The presumption of guilt already exists. It's baked in. Because the police do not serve our communities. They occupy them.

So now I gotta go back inside. I gotta walk back in there and say, "Hey, the intercom went off. I don't feel comfortable waiting outside. I'm gonna wait inside the store." And the worker, they nice, they understand. But I'm standing there in the aisle, and my whole mood is gone. My whole morning is soured. Because all I wanted was some damn hash browns and a breakfast sandwich. That's it. That's all. And instead I'm reminded that my simple existence in public space is a liability. That my body, standing still, is a crime in waiting.

Why would I put myself in danger going to Circle K? Because that's what it is. It's putting yourself in danger. Anyone with any sort of sense knows you are far more likely to be killed by the police than you are to be robbed. That's supposed to make me feel safer? That you can show up because I'm standing and waiting for my hash browns and arrest me and put me in jail? But I'm just hanging out. I'm just here. I'm a law-abiding citizen. I haven't done anything wrong. And yet here I am, doing a risk assessment over a $4 meal deal.

And I think it's important to hammer this home. The majority of the people who go to this Circle K are people of color. You don't see these live feed surveillance intercom stands in the rich neighborhoods. Is it because crime doesn't happen in rich neighborhoods? No. It's because the poor areas are over-policed. Because they occupy our fucking territory. They occupy our streets. Do you think the person who called me over the intercom and told me to get the fuck out, made me into a second-class citizen in that moment, lives in this community? Goes to this Circle K? Has ever walked these blocks? No. But that voice may as well be the voice of God. Because it only takes one phone call. One call, and next thing you know, you in cuffs. You lost your job. You lost your fucking home. You lost your place to live. You in jail. You gotta get bonded out. You might even end up shot. All for what? Because you wanted to go to the store and get breakfast. A law-abiding citizen who didn't do a damn thing wrong.

Would the intercom have gone off if I had a car to wait in? The intercom would not have gone off if I had a car to wait in.

So I go to Circle K and I pay money to be treated like a second-class citizen. I go to Circle K—and of course it's in a majority Black neighborhood—and they are treating the people who live and work in the community like second-class citizens. No doubt, if Circle K could have separate but equal facilities, they would. And no doubt it's the occupier logic of, Well, we're live-streaming your location and telling you you're not allowed to be here for your safety. We, the police, the only people who are legally allowed to kill you, murder you with qualified immunity, are here to protect you. That's why we're streaming your location and telling you, a community member, to leave.

It's a symptom of the apartheid legacy in this nation. Structurally part of it. Undeniable. And we wonder why Americans are so lonely, isolated, anti-social, on edge, alienated?

So I went from being in a chipper mood, having good small talk, sharing my cigs, really just, you know, waking up and starting the morning right, enjoying that morning air and morning sunlight, to being reminded that our neighborhoods are occupied territory. And that we are second-class citizens, even if we spend money at these businesses.

And for that reason, I will never go to this Circle K again. Period.

I don't care how much better the deals are. I don't care how good the prices are. I don't care if it's closer than the 7-Eleven or the Fast Stop. I will never step foot in this Circle K again so long as there is a live-stream podium telling me I can't be there despite being a paying customer.

We deserve better in our neighborhoods than humiliating occupation.

Good question actually, the answer seems to be yes, with the caveat that I can't find the data for the past 6 years. The rate of profit has never really recovered to 60s levels since the latter half of the 70s, which coincides with the start of neoliberalism and the pie-in-the-sky nonsense. One can only imagine how low it would get if governments around the world didn't break down all the barriers to the free flow of trade and labor

>>2784921
I think I’ve heard some kind of left wing economists argue that the ai craze is basically the last attempt at squeezing what little profit can still be made from cutting labor costs (aka mass firings) but the thing is it doesn’t really seem to do that so much? Just transfers it to the maintenance of data centers. Like I’m hearing a bunch of people who use Claude feel rug pulled cause now the tokens they get for AI use (some of which are paying $200 subscriptions for) are wholly useless, so it seems like a big scam at this point.

I don't understand the explanation that America stopped building/maintaining stuff because of financialization. Construction companies still exist, don't they want business? You can still make money building stuff, even if it's not as much as the fake financial BS, and the fake stuff ends up crumbling anyway. And other capitalist states still build stuff. I don't get it.

>>2784937

I don't get it.

Guess it depends on the "stuff" being built. Like there's still construction for office buildings and stuff, but if we're talking infrastructure… well I've heard an argument from libertarians that politicians are more focused on big "projects" they can slap their names on (and campaign off of) rather than "boring" maintenance of existing infrastructure. Though I think that's only half the story.

Maybe the most notable infrastructure project that comes to mind for me is California's massively delayed high-speed rail project. That had a few issues that might highlight why we've got this impression of America not building anything these days.

>The rail project was determined more by municipal politics than logic

<If construction of the rail would impact communities in any way, those same communities wanted the rail to create a stop along their line, or to avoid their towns entirely. Ultimately slowing the potential service that high speed rail could provide and making planning and constructing more of a headache.
>It relied on grants from the federal government to fund it, and Trump hates California and anything that doesn't guzzle immense amounts of gas.
<Rather than trying to build small segments of rail, say, from Los Angeles to the Valley, from the valley to Ventura County, etc, California tried to build one huge sprawling rail network in one go.

So it kind of seems like any project that gets off the ground becomes mired in byzantine political intrigues, with every potential interest group wanting to get a piece of the pie, and aiming way too high with way too little experience.

>>2784960
>when stuff gets built its usually luxury homes or condos rather than affordable section 8 or small single family homes
In my state the majority of residential construction is 55+ communities for wealthy old people, a good number of whom only spend half the year here and live in Florida or the south during the other half.

We're already have one of the oldest populations in the US and this growing influx of rich boomers combined with an exodus of young people is creating a demographic crisis.

>It might just be me but it's weird how the transformation of everything into a subscription service is almost never brought up any time the falling ROP is discuss.

Glad you mentioned that! One consequence of the huge push for data centers is that computer parts are far more expensive. Jeff Bezos casually mentioned how there could be a market towards "renting" computers or "subscribing" to them. You kind of saw the same in gaming years ago when people tried to promote shit like the Stadia where you "stream" video games, which is just an even more cancerous transformation of the whole "Games as a Service" mentality.

Ultimately the direction that I think financialization incentivizes is subscribing to just about everything. Its purely parasitic in that way, just nickle and diming you for every part of life.

I disagree. Labour aristocrats renting their vidya treats piecemeal from data centers actually reduces strain on the third world and reduces waste by centralization. "For all the anti-American bluster, those closest to Fischer say he'd secretly like to return to his homeland. Sam Sloan, a chess writer and longtime friend of Fischer's, says, "If he knew he wouldn't be prosecuted for this executive order, I think he'd come back." It seems that Fischer has a sentimental side. Difficult as it is for some former friends to believe, he still thinks about them. "Bobby called someone in New York recently," says Stuart Margulies, a co-author (with Fischer and Donn Mosenfelder) of Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess (1966). "He wanted to know how all his old friends were doing."

This covert homesickness may explain why for a time Fischer continued to pay property taxes on a piece of Florida real estate he was unable to set foot on. But returning to America is no more real a possibility than the rook-shaped house he once dreamed of building. The federal arrest warrant issued in 1992 will not expire, and it is unlikely that Fischer will be shown much leniency—especially since he referred to George W. Bush during one of his radio interviews as "borderline retarded.""

fyi, protein of vegetables is low quality, and usually harder to absorb than meat. you can, however, replace meat protein if you mix legumes with cereals in one sit (i.e. rice and frijoles, tacos with beans). it's wwwaaaaayyy cheaper than meat, but you need to eat some meat at some point in the month. I wouldn't recommend to replace meat with TVP because you don't know what exact mixture they are using, so it's a gamble.

or overthrow the capitalist rulling class, and force the production not to be directed to profits but to meat the actual needs of the population.

The proletariat is the class which sustains itself through selling its labor to capitalists, generally for a wage.

No, they all got their DNC script of lies and know that, however much backlash they get from saying things that can be proven untrue with a google search, having the DNC PR machine on their side is always going to be worth more. Much more. A career even. Why go against the current? Platner may be all those things and many more, but they'll get double the audience with the DNC. >Israeli Border Police officers sent to jail for barbecuing on base over Shabbat

>Punishment of four medics for ‘harming religion and Judaism’ reportedly reduced from two weeks to one following uproar from parents and politicians

Four Border Police officers were sentenced to two weeks in military prison for “harming religion and Judaism” by barbecuing on base during Shabbat, according to Hebrew media.

The punishment was reportedly shortened to one week following an uproar from parents of the detained officers and from politicians.

The officers, who serve as combat medics at a training base in the West Bank settlement of Beit Horon, will be released on Monday and return to their positions, Channel 12 reported Thursday.

It's been happening for years I think. Like the homeless, I didn't notice them much before the 2010s but after it seemed like every small town in my area started getting homeless encampments. The homeless just became more visible and numerous after. It might partly due to living in California since we seem to have the biggest issue with homelessness but that always was seen more as a big city problem rather than small town one. As far as robo calls I don't even answer my phone unless it's a contact or somehow verified.

When I was growing up, my town was kind of considered “the ghetto” so it’s not like we didn’t see homeless people, we even knew a few by name and tried to spare what money we can.

But now it seems like homelessness is just everywhere. I think America’s internally suffering a soft collapse, and it’s just the next big economic downturn that’s going to really get the ball rolling.

Went down to Dilley today since I missed the January one. This shit was largely demoncrat campaigning central, while from what I've seen and heard from the last one it was more akin to a bunch of relatively independent groups converging there.

Do you see ally or enemy in your massive lumpenproletariat

I hate the big bang

>>2785986
I mean I don’t see the homeless as an “enemy” if you’re asking, just people—often harassed by the police or entitled types. Honestly one of the core radicalizing moments in my life was when I visited Beverly Hills once and saw a couple of douchebag rich kids joke about whether some poor guy sleeping outside a luxury car dealership was dead or not. They were fucking laughing about it. Some of the parishioners at my old church were homeless people that our Monsignor took in and housed. They’re people, you know? So giggling that one of them might be dead was just evil to me.

As for whether they can be Allies to Socialism, I know a lot of CPUSA clubs get them clean blankets, food, clothes, and pass out Marxist literature to them. I personally think they should be treated with respect, but if they want no part in socialism I won’t resent or hate them for it. They’ve been through too much as is.

meanwhile, socialism in one city:
https://www.thecity.nyc/2026/04/16/hunger-strike-home-care-24-hour-menin-council-labor-protections/

>Fifteen home health aides started what they called an indefinite hunger strike on Thursday after the City Council failed to advance a bill banning 24-hour shifts, an issue that has roiled the mostly immigrant women working in the home care industry and the vulnerable patients who rely on their round-the-clock care.

>For more than a decade, live-in home care workers have sought to end state rules that allow 24-hour home care workers to be paid for only 13 hours a day. The 24-hour shifts are permitted as long as workers are allotted three hours for meals breaks and at least five hours of sleep without interruption.

>Workers say they routinely work in the same home up to 96 straight hours without rest — while getting paid for only a fraction of that time.

<Opponents argue the bill does not address how the proposed split shifts will be funded. Home care is heavily subsidized by state Medicaid dollars, which the city has no control over.

<Though Zohran Mamdani said on the campaign trail that he supported ending the 24-hour shifts, his mayoral administration has pushed back on Marte’s bill over questions of how it will be funded.

Follow the money:
Iran war is not what it seems on its surface.
City of London and its connections/partners aka remnants of the British empire. This war breaks their strangle hold via shipping on global markets. 30 trillion in the past decade creating a hidden global tax. Take note the British are the most upset about this, as they(City of London) are losing their biggest proxy(Iran & proxies) whom they use to massively hike shipping premiums through 2 of the worlds largest choke-points(Hormuz & Suez/Babel) IRONICALLY it was exposed in the Epstein files, with one email between Jeffrey Epstein and Steve Bannon, how they were conspiring to get rid of Jerome Powell in 218, and stop him from instituting SOFR a necessary step to create a competing US government backed insurance. This system is why America has fought countless foreign wars that provided no value to America and enriched war profiteers. Notice how a bunch of random individuals all at the same time were trying to spur division in America by blaming the Jews. Its as if they received marching orders from the top, that's exactly why this war is America first and when American officials were announcing goals for this war was very obtuse, as they don't want to lay out their game-plan before the public was ready.
Again I will iterate follow the money, who funds the IRGC? City of London leveraging legacy connections from the remnants of the British Empire. They then can create volatility that they profit freely from when ever they want, this is why Iran funds so many groups. They make their money from planned periods volatility, then the city of London utilizes infinite leverage to generate tons of profits for itself, especially because it knows when and where these conflicts globally will happen before they happen. Its a global blackmail scheme, that has been paid for by primarily Americans lives and the rest of the world in shipping prices for decades.
This exactly why America never gave notice to any Nato member that this war was going to happen, look at their behavior scrambling to close airspace as they reacted in real time. The speed of the war and defeat of Iran helped as they never had a chance to reset the game board. There's no way they would have taken these actions if they weren't complicit, the real question is do they have any more moves left on the board, we saw them activate controlled opposition trying to push the Israel narrative and divide the Right with bought out pod-casters.

hey ameribros, scott bessent advised you to change your federal witholdings.
don't do that unless you are 100% sure and certain of what you are doing. this is not 'an end to income taxes' as some stupid braindead influencers are trying to portray it. there's no new law implemented that changed your tax liability, so, if you follow bessent's advice, you will end up receiving less refunds or even a penalty.
bessent is doing this because he needs ameriburgers like you to spend more. he needs to do that to pump up gdp growth numbers. he promised 5.0% gdp growth, he got 0.5%, so, unless you want to playball with maga, trump, and such, and you know what you are doing, don't follow his advice.

Part of the problem is that you don’t really see that many third parties running in local elections. People over-emphasize huge state level roles when a lot of the time taking over a school board or a municipal seat is more popular.

The CPUSA has started running candidates again a few years back, and we’ve seen some success in local council seats and school boards. I believe other Socialist parties have succeeded on the local level, too. If you want to build a viable third party, it’s local elections that help you get there.

The problem though, is that many of these local positions are remarkably low paying, so being able to survive off a salary for a town council position can be difficult. In addition I think a lot of younger socialists have trouble conceiving politics on the local level or being just one figure on a local town council. They want to run things almost like a video game, give orders and direct things by themselves.

I’ll say something controversial in that I don’t think being part of a socialist party or having an ideology is inherently reprehensible to most Americans. I think they’d find it maybe a novelty or eccentricity at worst. The issue is a lot of socialists run for senators or president without a track record on the local level.

Shit, Mamdani was just a city council member before becoming mayor. The time is ripe for a socialist party to make headwinds.

Part of it is that that civil society and the state are deeply integrated. So if you look at Mamdani's campaign and the endorsements behind him, there's just a huge number of organizations, clubs, "coalitions" and "movements" and union locals, and if you're going to make a run as a progressive then you will probably get your start in that ecosystem.

>They want to run things almost like a video game, give orders and direct things by themselves.

I think something like that kind of happened in Russia, but the system there was structured in a way where a lot depended on the top which then failed and that happened really fast which allowed Lenin's dual-power thing to put communists in control. Also an interesting theory about the radicalism of Bolshevik atheism is that the Orthodox Church was already extremely brittle, like it was the state religion but a lot of what constituted Orthodox practice was some retarded illiterate priest doing magic rituals, so there wasn't that strong a commitment to it. Natalia Poklonskaya who was that meme Crimean prosecutor is a Pagan now btw.

>>2786895
Your party is the one who collaborates with murderous fascists like platner and provides them with material support. Even now the best idea your "revolutionary" party can imagine is to meekly collaborate with the state through bourgeois electoralism, which you all know will fail and lead to the death of your party, which is precisely why you Hyper-Browderists want to do it.

If the DNCPUSA was worthy of the name Communist they would have Graham Platner locked in a basement with a gun to his head, undergoing the same torture thugs like him did to innocent Iraqis.

Reminder:
Americans are 100% zionist, especially the ones who lie and say they aren't. The are literally sub-animal until they prove otherwise. They spend decades, couping, bombing, sanctioning, embargoing, torturing, kidnapping, raping, murdering, stealing, poisoning, everyone everywhere and expect sympathy for their """"Class"""" struggle to get a 401k off the backs of third worlders who feed them. They are parasites. Subhuman isn't demeaning enough. A dog is subhuman but I like a dog. I pet a dog. A dog is loyal. An American is sub-animal. Sub-microbe. Fuck americans. Fuck americans. Fuck americans. I hate americans so much it's fucking Unreal. All 340 million of them are bourgeois, petty bourgeois, lumpen. If a single one is proletarian, he is a class traitor. Death to the shityanks and all the land they occupy. That includes their 51st state Israel.

I hate especially how shityanks get sensitive and offended and make everything about them and try to pretend they're one of the good ones instead of just doubling down when confronted. Commit to the bit shityank. Don't try to redeem yourself now. This isn't a fucking Christmas carol. You're not scrooge. You don't get to become the good guy in the third act. It's fucking over. Just admit what you are and suffer the consequences. And no don't hide behind your kids who you were going to indoctrinate to be bloodthirsty monsters just like you.

Internet addicts would never martyr themselves for a cause, and yet they demand others do it for them. And they wonder why people find them loathsome

>>2787207
The left needs to do one of two things:

Get offline. Like, really, get offline. Do shit. The current internet is built to be an engagement machine that presses your buttons. The only people who win that game are the biggest turds in the movement - teenage edgelords spamming wojaks, wokescold radlibs losing their mind over the latest "problematic" show or fanfic or streamer, third worldists demanding martyrdom from a computer.

Or 2. If we're gonna be online, we gotta be hardasses about maintaining our communities. That doesn't mean being humorless scolds or assholes. It means no more humoring trolls and baiters. Ban them on sight, don't welcome them into any conversation. Don't even accept their premises. Shut 'em up. It'll filter out the people who treat politics as team sports, and leave behind the people who actually have something constructive to say. No more jakkers, pepes, ISG weirdos, etc. Let them find some other parasocial fixation to shit up with their immature antics.

>>2787210

>>2787215
>Get offline. Like, really, get offline. Do shit.
That is easier said than done.
There are WAY less people actually outside than the days of the boomers or Gen X to interact with because a lot of people find entertainment on the internet and at home. Some even doordash their groceries so they do not have to interact with strangers. dating is now increasingly going online as the original way of meeting people through friends or family begins to die off as families split apart due to economic or political reasons.
An example of this is the complaint that cookout culture is dying as the old generation die out or boomers saying that they are cut off from their millennial children.
The truth is that this is the new reality and is the consequences of mass usage of the internet. It is one thing when the nerd who never goes outside was addicted and living on the internet. It is another thing when the average young person cannot go too long without it.

>>2786895

Hot Take: Browderism is not bad and worked for US condition as that time period saw the closest the US got to a socialist revolution
Browderism was the closest to Socialism with American characteristics. Browderist inflitration in the federal government and in instututions were actually working and their were genuine sympathies to the USSR and socialism. There is a reason the Second Red Scare happened because Browderism actually was a threat. Harry Truman being president stalled Browderism. If FDR or Wallace had continued their presidencys into the 1950s, There would be a socialist Korea, a socialist North Japan, Second Bill of Rights, etc

>>2787257

>>2787262
Not talking about me as I am not a good anecdote because I have a social life. I am talking statistically and in general you can witness this trend.
Also people have much less friends
>There is growing evidence that platonic relationships are struggling. An American Perspectives Survey, undertaken by US non-profit the Survey Center on American Life in 2021, found that Americans reported having fewer close friendships than they once had, talked to friends less often, and relied less on friends for personal support. Social circles were contracting, according to the research; the proportion of men who claimed to have at least six close friends had gone from 55 per cent in 1990 to half that number (27 per cent) in 2021. While women had seen a less sharp decrease, the number with six good friends or more had nevertheless dropped from 41 to 24 per cent. Nearly half of Americans (49 per cent) had three friends or fewer; 12 per cent reported having “no close friends” at all.
How do you invite friends over when you do not have any friends to begin with, or when those friends are busy? There is a loneliness epidemic for a reason

>>2787274
Who gives a shit. Stop being a bitch. The literal one thing you as a human are made to do is socialize and form connections for survival. You can do that, you just have to be the one that is the leader. If you're sitting around waiting for someone else to make friends for you, that's the problem. Grow up

>>2787277
This sounds like a boomer lecture to zoomers. That isn't going to solve the issue when it is systemic, which is causing alienation.

>>2787102

These guys live in la-la land. And their AI surveillance vaporwave programs, who couldnt even catch Luigi or Robinson, wont be much help.

>>2787271
Funny. You've constructed some delusion about why some stranger used a word, in effort only to discredit and disregard their argument which you cannot reckon with. Confabulation to this degree is how liberals must exist. Their feeble minds type paragraphs upon paragraphs of incorrect thinking, but they always shy away and resort to these usual trickonologies when questioned

it's a double trick they pulled. kinda genius

1: get MIGAtards thinking that tariffs are when you charge the exporting country a tax for exporting to the USA)

(that's not how it works, obviously)

2: get libs correcting everyone since tariffs are traditionally a tax on imports charged at the port by the government, against the party doing the importing.

3: libs naturally don't mention the fact that the importing companies pass the tax onto the end consumer in the form of increased prices

4: trump admin comes in and negates point 2 by refunding the tariffs, therefore it was just price gouging on imports with no punishment whatsoever to the companies themselves, essentially functioning as a double tax on consumption. since the companies already passed the tariff onto the consumer to protect their profits, their refunds are effectively a subsidy, and not even covering losses of the tariff, which they already passed along

I hate the fake game of civility they make you play, where we aren't allowed to just say that they are evil and that they are trying to cause as much harm as possible; we have to pretend they have sincere beliefs and ideals when they don't. And they're so aware of it too: when they call people terrorists etc. they don't even believe that themselves, they just say it because they want to watch you contort and kneel and bow within the confines of this meaningless word game. I hate living here, in this box, even the act of trying to find meaning or companionship inside the box is humiliating and wretched; clambering up the sides of it while they watch is humiliating and wretched. And to even reject their framework, and say loudly and publicly that these people are demonic rapists and pedophiles, is still humiliating and wretched and you just look like an insane retard.
