Islamic Resistance™️ in Iraq edition
>The first day of the funeral procession for the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who died alongside family members at the beginning of the US-Israel war on Iran, has come to a close.
<UK and French leaders issued a joint statement regarding the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as “a vital artery for the global economy” and stressing that “restoring safe transit for ships of all nations through the strait is a matter of global concern”.
>Tehran pledged to deploy every available judicial and diplomatic channel to challenge what the Iranian president characterised as unlawful acts perpetrated against the country by the US and Israel.
<Israeli settlers stepped up their incursions and land seizures across the occupied West Bank, launching assaults that involved taking over or destroying Palestinian homes and vandalising critical infrastructure, including water springs, power lines and greenhouses.
>The Israeli military announced that it targeted approximately 10 “Hezbollah infrastructure sites” across southern Lebanon.
<Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held talks with US President Donald Trump, and the two leaders agreed to hold a meeting in the United States. According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), upwards of 640,000 displaced individuals in Lebanon have gone back to their homes following a US-Tehran agreement signed last month that incorporated a ceasefire in Lebanon.
>Yemen’s Houthis warned they will target Saudi Arabian airports and critical infrastructure if Riyadh breaches their airspace or launches an attack, following accusations by the Iran-backed group that the kingdom committed an airspace violation.

Strait status?
>>2866906>Strait status?Iran effectively controlling Hormuz through different strategiesThis is not for the first time that we see controversy where both sides are trying to control the Strait of Hormuz.
From the Iranian perspective, any ship or vessel transiting through the trajectory of this geostrategically significant chokepoint should be coordinating with Iran.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi says the country which should be compensated for the safety and security of commercial vessels passing through the Hormuz is Iran, not the US.
But practically speaking, we know that Iran is practising a level of authority by effectively not allowing ships to transit if there is no greenlight from the Iranians. What we have witnessed over the past few days is indicative of that.
Several oil tankers which were planning to exit or even approaching the Strait of Hormuz were stopped and even fired upon after what the IRGC called “disregarding warnings from the Iranian side”.
We also know there are mines, and Iran has maintained that the safest passage through the strait is close to the Iranian coastline. Iran’s deputy prime minister told state television that the reason behind the latest round of escalation is the new route the US tried to carve closer to the Omani side of the Hormuz. This is something Iran is not happy about, and this is creating more confrontation on the horizon.

Iran strikes Camp Arifjan in Kuwait, killing 26 U.S. servicemen
>Iran launched a missile strike on Camp Arifjan, a major U.S. military logistics base in Kuwait, early Saturday, killing 26 American servicemen and wounding dozens more, U.S. defense officials said.
>The attack marks one of the deadliest direct assaults on U.S. forces in the Gulf in recent years and sharply escalates tensions between Washington and Tehran.
President Donald Trump condemned the strike as "an act of war" and vowed that those responsible would face "swift and overwhelming consequences."
>The Pentagon confirmed that emergency response teams were deployed to the base while additional U.S. forces across the region were placed on heightened alert.

<generals ignored warnings<Those who were there say they fear no one will be held accountable. So, assuming what I've heard is true, the reason why the war was started again was due to Iran hitting a neutral ship in the Strait. If so, why? Iran got a ton of money from the deal, they utterly humiliated the US, and had a lot of the international community behind them. Why would they start the war again, making them look like the aggressor, and risking a worse outcome?
So would the Iranians actually be working on a nuke? Do they even still have the capacity?
>>2867058Because Iran will never get that money?
>>2867058American-allied ships were attempting to transit the strait off of Oman's coast on the southern part of the strait which was a direct violation of the MoU under Iran's assertions of ownership and management of the strait for passage. They were given multiple warnings and did not turn around.

>Iran shuts down the Strait of Hormuz after hitting container ship: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy announced Saturday that the Strait would be “closed until further notice.”
>According to the IRGC, the decision came after a vessel attempted to transit through an “unapproved route” after disabling its tracking systems and ignoring orders to change course. It said it struck the vessel “with warning fire,” forcing it to stop.
>The Iran–U.S. memorandum of understanding states that commercial vessel traffic would be fully restored within 30 days of the agreement, and that Iran “will make arrangements using its best efforts for the safe passage of commercial vessels.” Tehran, therefore, insists that oversight and management of the Strait remains under its control, and that navigation be conducted through its northern route, rather than through the southern U.S.- and allied-backed corridor along the Omani coast. Iran has also maintained that decisions regarding the administration of the Strait will be made exclusively by Tehran and Oman, in dialogue with other Persian Gulf states, in accordance with the MOU. Ayatollah status?
very accurate representation of what the arabs state love to do.
by the way, the israeli transportation ministry issued a prohibition to have more military airplanes in the ben gurion airport. too many air planes are stored there because Iran has destroyed platforms that the us regime uses in arab states.
does anybody want to speculate what's going on with china, and why they cut their oil imports in half? Do they have some kind of deal with the US government? Or do they want leverage over Trump as they can basically raise gas prices on demand? Or are they just flexing as a show of force?
>>2867312>muh arab statesImplying Iran doesn't suck their dick 24/7, allow in their inventors and apologise for bombing their US bases (legally US soil)
Qatar is airing Iranian propaganda all the time, that's how deep Iranian throating goes.
>>2867327Idk but might be trying to avoid demand destruction. High oil prices (globally) is bad for them because it'll damage their own exports.
>>2867355that's a good point, but the US isn't behaving rationally and seems determined to crash the global economy regardless. Eventually they will have to start filling their reserves back up no matter what.
>>2867058> making them look like the aggressorNOBODY thinks they're the aggressor
So is the idea to just crash the whole economy through driving oil up and causing a demand crash so you hide the AI bubble? Is there any idea or thoughts at all? Because the problem with capital destruction through driving up oil means it’s harder and even thinner margins to rebuild said destroyed capital (I think)
>>2867515I think its just the israel lobby realizing the goverment is run by a swiss cheese brained pedo who they can get to destroy their worse enemy they will never have the same chance to attack iran with the american state
>>2867522I get that in the sense of if you’re a zionist you want to punish your racial enemies but aren’t they also dependent on oil and are in a low profit advanced economy anyway (outside of settlements)? Won’t this fuck them medium and long term too?
>>2867526They're safe, Russia and the US ship them all the oil they need
>>2867540I forgot their relationship with Russia, and to be fair so does US media and the multipolar media, it’s just uncomfortable for everyone involved
