>I've heard that too many times, "Socialism might work if we had our White ethnostate, but we share the country with uyghur bums and spics."
Where antisemitism enters the picture is that it offers an explanation as to why

>In modern "antisemitic conspiracy" the Jew is not even the actual enemy. The Jews is only bad because he supposedly wants to flood the country with the subhuman darkies.

The actual Jew is never the real enemy, it is an imaginary kind of Jew pulling the strings of both the capitalists and the socialists (i.e. we're puppets also being dangled around by Jewish capitalists).

>They would gladly worship the Jew if they are convinced he hates darkies as much as him. To quote the richest man in the world: "Jews are peak White!"

He has said that and that Jews are flooding the West with immigrants because they're anti-white for some "dialectical" reason. Idk man I think the right is fine with lying and resorting to any kind of demagoguery including antisemitism if it helps them in the moment. It's something they can ratchet up or down depending on their mood. Historically it'd be in some German village where they'd let you go work out some steam by kicking the shit of the village jeweler or butcher named Jewy Goldstein or Jewey McJewface or whatever and wave crucifixes at him, and then the established order could come in and save his ass. There's an evil cabal of pedophiles in charge of the government and they drink blood!

>I think I've seen that all over the South. I always try to hold the door open for a woman and hand it off to a man in general. If it is a group I'd hold it open for all of them.
Yeah this is culturally ingrained in people. I also think this also "crosses racial lines." You hold the door for black women if you're a white man. Black men are almost always incredibly polite to my mother.

>>2863993
>Never forgot when a New Yorker unironically came down here and said he thought the KKK was still roaming the streets openly
I think socially the South may be less socially segregated in terms of daily life because the populations interacted more closely for hundreds of years. There's a naturalness to it. It's kind of a paradox because the South historically had de jure Apartheid-like segregation (where blacks weren't allowed to drink out of the same water fountains as whites) and this also existed within a more "polite" and conservative (and some ways paternalistic) social order, and then a huge civil rights movement happened there. The resistance to it was fueled by racism for sure but you can't really understand the ferocity of it without considering how it was tied into a whole integrated social order (that didn't simply go away either, it modified / adapted / evolved).

Friend of mine in rural Louisiana saw a white guy get physically thrown out of a bar (went airborne like Superman) for calling a black man the n-word and the other white guy who tossed him shouted that he can't say that "to his face." He didn't say he couldn't say it theoretically, just not in that context. It's good ol-fashioned polite racism with probably less neo-Nazis and angry racism like you see in Idaho. Nick Fuentes is from Chicago.

I've known real rednecks and fake rednecks. The fake one was a guy I went to uni with. He was from a rich farming family that had this huge estate, but almost all the work was done by Latin American and Carribean migrant workers. They were of white South African descent too, and when the guy got drunk he would regularly drop the n word. The real rednecks where these enormous French Canadian guys who had an illegal hunting camp in the bush near my parents house. They were a huge family with like five or six brothers who were all like 6'5. On several occasions they had gotten into shootouts with game wardens who came and tried to tear down their illegal cabin.

>The real rednecks where these enormous French Canadian guys who had an illegal hunting camp in the bush
I can see French Canadians being the real rednecks up there. Most rednecky people around my area are either from West Texas or Louisiana and various rural counties around here. My mom's side of the family are a bunch of rednecks and one of my cousins married into some crazy clan of them who comprise half of their town. The most rednecky I've ever known were neighbors in a small bayou town my grandfather retired to. I went out on their boat as a kid to bring in their catfish trotlines in a swamp.

Speaking of racism my dad inherited grandpa's house after he died (it was basically a shack) and they casually threatened to burn it down if he rented it out to any non-white people. This was really out in the sticks but the thing is they didn't say they specifically and explictly were going to do that, it was done in a more mafia-like polite "just letting you know, cuz some people around here…" kind of way. What I think surprises people about not seeing KKK in the South is that historically that was a secret society, more or less, so you wouldn't normally "see" it. They'd use terms like "invisible empire."

>Washington D.C., July 10, 2026 - On October 27, 2025, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents quietly detained Armando Fernandez Larios, a former Chilean secret police operative living in Florida. His incarceration at the Krome Detention Center in Miami remained unknown until he appeared on the Department of Homeland Securityโ€™s โ€œworst of the worstโ€ listโ€”one of several Trump administration publicity stunts from January 2026 meant to demonstrate that ICE was rounding up immigrants with actual criminal backgrounds. Despite detaining Fernandez Larios for past crimes of โ€œhomicide,โ€ ICE released him from custody after he filed an โ€œunlawful detentionโ€ lawsuit, according to court records posted today by the National Security Archive alongside declassified documents on his role in an act of international terrorism in Washington, D.C., 50 years ago.

>Rather than respond to the lawsuit, ICE officials freed Fernandez Larios on March 19, 2026, according to a legal ruling in the case obtained by the Archiveโ€™s Chile Documentation Project.

>In 2005, Fernandez Larios attempted to secure an โ€œSโ€ visa that protects foreign informants from ejection from the United States. But key U.S. government officials opposed granting him that protective status. โ€œSome immigration officials have wanted to detain Fernรกndez Larios to face deportation proceedings, citing his lack of any immigration papers and a 1996 law that mandates deportation of foreigners convicted of aggravated felonies,โ€ the Miami Herald reported at the time.

>More than 20 years later, that little-known effort to deport him appears to have been revisited. Although Fernandez Larios is, once again, living freely in Florida, the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Letelier-Moffitt assassination is likely to bring renewed attention to his role in one of the most infamous atrocities ever committed on the streets of Washington, D.C. โ€œIf there is anyone who truly qualifies as โ€˜the worst of the worst,โ€™ observes the Archiveโ€™s senior analyst on Chile, Peter Kornbluh, โ€œit is Armando Fernandez Larios.โ€

reminder: you can grovel the us government all you want. it won't save you.

In the Manifesto Marx praises capitalism for rescuing peasants from the idiocy of rural life. One reading of this an older Greek term that means private or parochial, in other words theyd'd be more plugged into wider society. Either way, it was something to cure. Funny thing is, when Marx envisioned future communist society, his dream jobs were hunting, fishing, herding cattle. A doctor, a waiter and a programmer: To the DSA, they are all 'working-class' voters

The Democratic Socialists of America are trying to redefine what it means to be a working-class voter in New York City.

To the DSA, restaurant workers, doctors and techies should see themselves as in the same boat. Compared to billionaires, theyโ€™re all relatively poor.

โ€œThe definition of working class really includes anyone who's dependent on their own work and their own labor for their livelihood and for their income,โ€ said Grace Mausser, who co-chairs the DSAโ€™s New York City chapter.

The chapter has seen explosive growth since Zohran Mamdani announced his mayoral campaign in October 2024. And new members joining Mamdaniโ€™s โ€œpolitical homeโ€ are told in orientation sessions to think of anyone who works for a living as working class.

Mausser said this includes programmers who work at Google as well as professionals who make six-figure incomes. โ€œI would say a doctor who makes a healthy income, who's making $400,000-plus, is in economic reality much, much closer to a waiter than they are to Jeff Bezos,โ€ she said, referring to Amazon's founder.

The shift portends a potential political realignment that views workers and billionaires as opposing sides of a class struggle. Historically, working class referred to people who did manual labor or low-wage work. With the broader definition, the DSA is attempting to tap into the population of people who may have seemingly comfortable desk jobs and decent salaries but still feel the cityโ€™s soaring costs have made it tough to climb the economic ladder

I am not at all sure if you are the same anon but this conversation has somehow gone from the flat out incorrect statement:

>Marx hated the rural peasants

to the much more correct statement

>In the Manifesto Marx praises capitalism for rescuing peasants from the idiocy of rural life.

OK let's deal with the second softer statement. That is not "hate" for the peasants, but rather the conditions which, especially in his time, made them on average less literate, less educated, etc.

Also this is more from the bourgeois viewpoint but Adam Smith points out that in the countryside one farmer on his homestead must perform several different kinds of labor in one day, losing time as he passes between them, making him a jack of all trades and a master of nothing, and inefficient in his use of time, which is not the case for people who hyper-specialize in one sort of labor and do it uninterrupted for long periods of time.

<The advantage which is gained by saving the time commonly lost in passing from one sort of work to another, is much greater than we should at first view be apt to imagine it. It is impossible to pass very quickly from one kind of work to another, that is carried on in a different place, and with quite different tools. A country weaver, who cultivates a small farm, must loose a good deal of time in passing from his loom to the field, and from the field to his loom. When the two trades can be carried on in the same workhouse, the loss of time is, no doubt, much less. It is, even in this case, however, very considerable. A man commonly saunters a little in turning his hand from one sort of employment to another. When he first begins the new work, he is seldom very keen and hearty; his mind, as they say, does not go to it, and for some time he rather trifles than applies to good purpose. The habit of sauntering, and of indolent careless application, which is naturally, or rather necessarily, acquired by every country workman who is obliged to change his work and his tools every half hour, and to apply his hand in twenty different ways almost every day of his life, renders him almost always slothful and lazy, and incapable of any vigorous application, even on the most pressing occasions. Independent, therefore, of his deficiency in point of dexterity, this cause alone must always reduce considerably the quantity of work which he is capable of performing.

Thank goodness for smart liberals like Adam Smith so we can all be more efficient and make him more money, just look at the wonderful world that created. >>2863938
Y'know I went to a MegaChurch once, or something kind of akin to a MegaChurch. It was pretty large, Protestant through and through.

Honestly it was the only religious place I've been to where at the end of the experience I thought: "God is not here."

Like I've been to Mosques and some older Protestant churches (Lutheran, Presbyterian, and Methodist I believe) and you can at least get some sense of holiness and reverence and the like. I go to this one generic Protestant Church and the first thing you notice is the gift shop right at the entrance, followed by a guy in khakis giving a bizarre sermon that sounds more like a self-help lecture.

You know in the US in most places it's illegal to live in an RV on your own land? I was looking up this middle of nowhere desert shithole with cheap land for sale and someone was on reddit saying they wanted to buy a plot and live in his RV and the people said, "good luck getting away with that for more than one night unless your neighbors can't see you." Fucking land of the free, can't live on the street, can't live on your own land, they want to make it as hard as possible to get a job that won't even make you enough to pay rent. Why does the Heritage Foundation and every Republican think that simply banning porn would magically make marriages and birthrates rise again without things like better paying jobs incentives for familes?

And how would banning porn even work, they can't completely ban anyhting? People can still make porn away from the internet and do things the old fashioned way, or even use their imagination for porn.
