it’s finally time borther

speaker of the house hakeem jeffries btw. just in case any of you had any hopes the dems would do anything. also remember that the dsa has no mechanism for wrangling it's candidates once they've won office. mamdani has already shown that they can be safely used to get the dumbass zoomers and gen alphas to vote for you and kickstart your career and then you can dump them. they won't even be mad really.

Their entire ideology is to "own the libs"

Collins still got BTFO despite Platnergate. Real, true blue, men's men in charge again.

>>2946835

Elon spent like a couple billion dollars to move all of his operations out of a blue state and into another blue state

>>2946845

They lost everything it looks like.

>Call: Democrats have completed a sweep of every single statewide office in Texas:

>Senate

>Governor
>Lt. Governor
>Attorney General
>Land Commissioner
>All four Supreme Court seats
>Comptroller of Public Accounts
>Agriculture Commissioner
>Railroad Commissioner

>>2946852
I mean, Florida is one of those almost completely deindustrialized states - what even would be the point? There is no existing infanstructure to take over and really the only reason the Dems probably lost in Florida is because they didn't put any money into it at all and they still got like 47% of the vote.

Talarico is a hippie christfag

I still can't believe that since 1939 Kansas hadn't a democrat senator. Adam Hamilton undid the spell. Thanks, trump deranged syndrome.

>>2946864
it'll be as if they still had a rep senator

>>2946862
Talarico is the most openly gay Democratic candidate I've see in years. He makes Pete Buttigeg look straight as an arrow. Is he even married? (Checks wikipedIa) Nope. Not even trying to hide it.

weren't they just attacking him for following Alina Lopez on some ap yesterday?

>>2946871
It's still insufferable hogwash

>>2946874
That it unfortunately is, my friend.

The Democrats still have no platform besides being not-Trump, which disgusts me. The only reason they won is simply because the American political system allots no other possibility. Dialectically it's easy to predict such a system will result in a race to the bottom. Any result in American politics besides a fundamental overthrow or reform sickens me. It's inconceivable that it could ever be reformed from within.

Bongs and slavs reading this thread do you find our politics amusing?

The Infant in Chief was just crashing out on Fox.

>>2946878
They have a platform on a number of things that matter to a lot of people, abortion, etc. My main concern is the centrist dems that want to block any movement to the left on important economic of foreign policy matters and etc. It looks like the entryism is working. The best bet is to primary the centrist dems and keep shifting the party. Hopefully this is a lessen to the DSA types that they need to beat the centrist Dems in a lot more primaries. Hopefully this shows to those fence-sitting Dems who are swayed by electability arguments that you should just vote for what you believe in and to stop trying to win over Republican voters by being Republican lites. Let them do that in red states or whatever. Every single centrist and longtime incumbent Dem in a safe seat needs to be primaried out.

>>2946879
Yes I do to be honest even though my understanding of what the consequences of this will be are very minimal. And well, it's blasted on all our news channels too right now.
t. Brit anon

Not an American, what can Dems actually do now that they have both house and senate? Can they roll back Trump's moronic executive orders? Can they stop him from molesting the strait?

>>2946884
If you are an earnest social-democrat and not just trolling, know that the Dem establishment is going to use every waking hour of their day to fight you all and will not give even the most performative effort towards fighting Trump / the GOP. They are going to say that all of the wins in traditionally red districts are proof that centrism works and that you are all Russia / Iran funded antisemites come to destroy the Democratic Majority. And it'll be a civil war fought in every seat they have, and if it causes the GOP to win the next time around they only view that as a positive.

>>2946840
i'm still piss at dems for fucking up Florida and lou

>>2946889
They don't have enough seats in the Senate unless a dozen GOP members want to vote with them. As Trump is already gloating about, he has veto power over whatever they could possibly pass in the Senate. They could possibly stop the Iran war by not passing a budget until some concession is made on that. Mostly they can use their majority in the House to launch a bunch of investigations into the admin and impeach him multiple times again.

>>2946891
don't get mad. it's just sports

>>2946893
But that did nothing last time. Can they actually remove him now? What's different?

Most likely the Senate will not convict again because despite this glaring humiliation for Trump and his popularity among Republicans, I doubt and of the R senators will be brave enough to openly going against him like that as it would most likely still be a career killer. Who knows, maybe a bloc of R Senators will organize a coup and vote to convict so they can get Vance in there before 2028 but I doubt it.
