Imagine if the generals said they wouldn't do war crimes for Israel. I doubt it but that'd be crazy. A first in American history?
>>2765372if I recall, it has something to do about lpol's DEV adding some trashy code (unwillingly or not) from another board that banned Telegram channels because of someone being butthurt about the Russian-Ukrainian war where that board doesn't consider telegram channels as reliable source (zelensky has its own official account there, as well most of ukrainian media)
post?
We're getting a Jewish Chief of Chaplains of the United States Army
>>2765189The Iraqi nationalist insurgency killed more troops in its first 3 years (before Al-Qaeda and Iran started a sectarian war) than the entire occupation of Afghanistan
Meanwhile Iran killed like 8 troops so far. You tripping blud
>>2765375It may be a first. Ben Franklin did say you have a Republic, if you can keep it. They thought they had enough safeguards in place so they could never have imagined something like what's happening now, a junta that disregards every safeguard
>>2765385>believing official numbers released by the Trump administrationI shaggy scooby doo
>>2765391the iraq war numbers are fairly legit imo, and there weren't insiders coming out saying they were hiding the numbers
it's a few weeks into this war and there's already insiders leaking that they're hiding the numbers
>>2765397>trust me broOkay 👍
>>2765385>Meanwhile Iran killed like 8 troops so farfrom the last thread.
watch out from 'strangely disappeared general, lieutenant, captain,', a bus ran-off the cliff in Germany that killed 20 soldiers?
This is a quick run-down in 2020: initially: no deaths, no cassualties, Jan 16, 2nd picrel:
>11 InjuredThen Feb 10, 2020
>More than 100 soldiers with brain injuriesso, you are very gullible to believe that they have 8 casualties only.
>>2765408>>More than 100 soldiers with brain injuriesSoleimani's meme revenge operation also caused 100 brain injuries. Like 1 contractor died from that.
There is no comparison between the nationalist Iraqi insurgency and Iran so far.
Not that it matters very much compared to real news about the war, but since Mr. Market has been in Iran War mode for weeks, here's all you never wanted to know about the US stock market this week (trading week ends early for Good Friday):
>Market started the week badly, ending down on Monday
>On Tuesday, a WSJ article mentioned that Trump was supposedly open to getting out and letting Iran control the Strait of Hormuz, leaving Europe (or whoever) to resolve the problems there, which boosted the markets.
<Some technical action related to a set of derivatives bought/written by one of JPMorgan's largest funds resulted in even more volatile price action upwards.
>A Bloomberg article where Iran's president repeated some of their demands for a ceasefire was misread by trading algorithms as new information, and the S&P 500 ended the day up around 3%, undoing slightly less than half the losses over the year-to-date in one day.
>On Wednesday, the market went up yet again, over 1% on the S&P 500, on increased hopes of some sort of near-term ceasefire deal, despite all evidence to the contrary
>Wednesday night into Thursday, the stock market reacted badly to the spew of garbage Trump assembled from his Truth Social posts (weren't they reading these before?)
>On Thursday, the S&P 500 starts down ~-1.5, but it rose from the dead for no obvious reason to end the trading session a bit above 0, a positive day despite expectations of a dump before the 3-day weekend.
>WTI/oil up more than 10% in a day, ending around 52-week high
In short, Mr. Market is still carrying water for the dotard. Some of the price action on Thursday was related to weekly options (derivatives) expiring, though. Market maker trading algorithms tend to drive some stock prices up or down toward max pain (the price range where the most derivatives traders get screwed) to maximize gains from premiums on the derivatives they sold.
The most bizarre price action was the relation between stock indices and oil on Thursday. They were trading inversely to one another for weeks, but there was almost no relation between their price movement on Thursday.
>>2765403>>2765391I don't have any opinion about Iraq war casualty numbers, but you'd have to be a driveling idiot to believe that the number of US casualties in the last month is 8
>>2765414My reply is meant as a respond to the retard downplaying the effectiveness of the Iraqi insurgency while claiming Iran will kill "hundreds of thousands" based on zero evidence
>>2765419did you mean bullshite?
>>2765420>>2765421>Taking AMERIKKKA at face value on this 6 year old attack whose real casualties definitely have yet to come to light????? Ok ZOGBOT>The Iraq war? Yeah vibes tells me president bush reported the real numbers doeI <3 arbitrary unfalsifiable claims

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has asked Army Chief of Staff General Randy George to resign and take immediate retirement, CBS has reported, citing source familiar with the matter. One of the sources named differences in “vision for the army” between US President Donald Trump, Hegseth, and George as the reason for the move.
21:54 GMT
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said that General Randy George has stepped down from his position as Army Chief of Staff. “The Department of War is grateful for General George’s decades of service to our nation,” Parnell wrote on X.
Earlier, CBS News reported that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had asked George to resign and intends to replace him with someone he considers better aligned with his and President Donald Trump’s policy agenda.
>>2765426Oh, bush. I thought they were dead?
>>2765427Seems like purging the brass would get a lot of kids killed if they went ground invasion.
>German pharma giant Bayer has warned that European drugmakers must raise prices on new medicines in Europe to maintain profits amid US pressure to lower drug costs for Americans.

>>2765427>replace all your military leadership with sycophants in the middle of a warI'm sure it'll work out great.
>>2765440the grim reaper decal got burned off LOL
>>2765375>>2765381I think it depends on the general. IIRC Michael Flynn was basically considered an insane wannabe einsatzgruppen by other figures in the Pentagon. Then you get kind of liberal coded figures like Mark Milley that I think ended their careers somewhat radicalized by how the Trump admin acted because they took their oaths to the constitution seriously.
Though I think the most rational argument is kind of in the center. Hegseth is giving interviews where he acts like this is a holy war and says “the only people who should be worried are Iranians who think they’re gonna live.” And seems to be creating self inflicted crises because of some idiotic idea that there’s a war god he can appease by being anti woke. Like imagine trying to plan for counter insurgencies and your dumbass President and Sec of War are out there saying shit like “we’ll kill every Iranian that doesn’t show us total submission” or that he can’t wait to turn their mosques into Protestant mega churches. Like I wouldn’t be shocked if he just out and out says “this is a war to destroy Islam.”
Like I think they can recognize a fundamental incompetence in Hegseth and Trump’s approach that’s kind of tinged like that meme of “If Hitler just didn’t treat the Slavs as subhuman, he would have had an army ready to fight Stalin.”
