Y'know, say what you will about Adolf Hitler's Tactical Acumen, but when he was moving phantom divisions around Berlin from the Fuhrerbunker, desperate to get some sort of miraculous victory, at the very least his orders were some variation of, like, "Fight the Russians".

The only way I can make sense of what Trump is thinking here is that he knows Iran is setting up a toll, and he thinks by blockading the strait himself he's cutting them off from tons of toll money, which… I mean, hasn't traffic been a handful of ships at best? Trump would have to nationalize the oil industry, put forth a export ban and do massive investments in renewables and refineries. To keep gas at $4, and he should have done that two years ago.
