I totally get that young/old relationships are usually just about the economic power dynamic and coercion and treating the younger partner like your property basically. And that's totally shameful. But tons of same-age adults also engage in this same type of relationship and no one seems to care. Economic coercion exists in basically all our relationships under capitalism, and likely will exist even under communism as people will always want "more" even when their needs are being met. In the same way you can't ever truly get rid of prostitution or porn, you can't get rid of people factoring economics into their dating practices. this is just a reality. As a poorfag loser with no gf living in california and being rejected by dozens of status-obsessed asian girls, I really fucking wish this wasn't the case. but it is. we kinda just have to accept that the world we live in runs based on money. you will almost never enter into a relationship where money isn't a factor. limiting yourself to only dating people who are your economic equal just means no woman will ever want to date you.
