I also noticed how traditional political positions in the countries with actual cultures are small or fringe in settler colonial states. For example social conservatism + economic leftism makes sense in Iran, Warsaw Pact, China, but is never seen in the west. Anybody got any ideas why?

The intended audience can't just take off the costume and become a functional person in their society though. Their handicaps and quirks are real and they don't get none of the money the performer does to cushion the impact of branding themselves a weirdo in public. But hey, that's just fuel for the parasocial needs, if they can't find belonging outside of niche online spaces win/win.

IDK what level of shame is appropriate for a society or how to manage it. But I lean towards completely eliminating shame as a barrier to profit being detrimental.

All the hysteria about the "rise of antisemitism" in the most philosemitic country probably to ever exist, like all of a sudden there is going to be a race-war break out, but just against the Jews. Obviously there is so much more anti-Muslim rhetoric at all levels than anything remotely "antisemitic." What is also I think in general, African Americans are by far the single most hated group, but nobody really acknowledges that, probably followed by Hispanics. I think there are a lot of people who are more tolerant of anti-Black racism because even if they're not so openly that way, they'll be like "well maybe it's kinda justified…" because of Black association with crime and antisocial behavior. To be honest, I'm going to court controversy here, but I think if we're judging racism on just like purely ambient rhetoric, the stuff I've seen thrown at Muslims might genuinely be the most vile, hateful shit I've ever seen. Like even the /pol/tier racial tirades about Black people is kind of… casual I guess? At least in terms of like, it's vile and reprehensible, but with Muslims its existential.

That's what kind of throws me for a loop, to me it genuinely seems like the loudest voices of Muslim hatred aren't just pushing for the acceptance of their bigotry or racial resentment, but outright extermination. There's contempt and hatred for Black America, a lot of it, but for Muslims in particular it seems to more frequently escalate to the level of: "we need a final solution to the Muslim problem".

I'm going to be totally honest here: I genuinely worry about the prospect of some "Muslim Genocide" in the U.S., I think trans people are at risk too, of course, but I think it seems like there are enough people in high ranking positions in government and media that just want to kill all Muslims.

There are ZERO; zero laws that specifically target jews, and there surely never will be unless like fuentes becomes president.
