To be honest I think party leadership has different priorities, and as embarassing as this is to say I've recommended tons of different ideas before and I don't want to make myself a nuisance to them.

I think an important thing that Socialists should be doing is trying to work with more rural parts of America as those tend to be the poorest. Anyways, this changes over time. So early on with COVID you had politicians face a dilemma about whether to deal with COVID or deal with the economy, but then incentives changed later on. But that's not coherent and so people think, ah, these people must be out to hurt us or deceive us and they're hypocritical. They can be hypocritical but that's because the incentives of the political system make them that way. Or at least there's an underlying logic to it rather than just a lot of intentions and plots and events as isolated criminal acts as conspiracy theorists assert.
