In Turkey, the constitution specifies Turkish as the sole legal language of instruction. And use of Kurdish for this purpose is illegal.
In Iran Persian is the only legal language of instruction. France has similar laws. In Russia since 2018 ethnic republics can no longer mandate that learn minority languages.

You have to ask what is even the practical difference between Nazi Germany drawing up their new borders and Ukraine inheriting their borders from the USSR’s internal borders, but disavowing the USSR’s legitimacy to define Ukraine’s borders thereby making their current borders no less arbitrary than those of the projected Ostland.

It’s basically the same point I believe UkSSRanon once made in claiming that any promises made to the Soviet leadership about not expanding NATO were nullified by the replacement of said leadership. They “committed suicide” which means NATO didn’t need to honour squat with their replacements.
