>23.6 mb video of a still image
bruh

>>2869
How did you reduce the filesize that much without touching the video resolution? Audio sounds a bit more dull, so is it due to better video compression? I want to learn how to be better at video editing.

>>2874
Bitrate is more important than resolution.
Lowered the frame rate and video bit rate as much as possible in the editing software without ruining the quality (software more suited to a still image could do even better). It's a still image so you could have below 1 fps, although Vegas kept crashing during the render if I didn't give it at least 4 fps.
The audio uses a lower sample rate, because it doesn't really affect it that much and you don't need high quality audio to get the joke.
>is it due to better video compression?
I could convert to webm and it would probably be better but no this is an mp4 just using a lower bitrate and frame rate. Most frames in typical video codecs are only concerned with the pixels that changed since the previous frame, so on a still image you should be able to get a low bitrate without ruining the quality. IDK how to adjust how often the keyframe is rendered, but you could reduce that as well. I think there are even video codecs that just use a static image instead of rendering it as a video at all.

>>2875
Thank you for explaining. So you used Vegas? I'm using Shotcut for now. It's pretty gud and simple to use.

>Bitrate is more important than resolution.
Holy shit I've never thought of this before.
Fuck I'm dumb…

Ok, so this started out as a joke; a commie dommie mommy I made: Tsarina Svetlanna. It'd be a great addition to the imageboard. Course Im not artist; So how bout this: Take this character, and draw her however you like. You can tweak clothes, proportions, faces features, etc.; as long as Svetlanna's still recognizable.

Btw, some facts about the Domina:
-Red Hair
-Green Eyes
-Freckles
-White skin
-From Moscow
-Sadistic owner of the means of reproduction

Looks kinda fun, a little bit like that character from Camp Camp.

I forgot the freckles

>>2741
Ok come on, I dont mind!

>Tutorial - an illustration from A to Z with Krita
<A long 1h22min Krita video tutorial fully commented. A real full lenght course suited to beginners, but also advanced digital painters. It starts from scratch with default set of brushes, preferences and break-down all the process. The repetitive parts while painting were all accelerated and can be skipped easily (a timer in overlay appears on display) Check the Timeline codes under to navigate in the video.

David Revoy is the guy behind Pepper & Carrot, a webcomic made entirely with free/libre tools ( https://www.peppercarrot.com/ )

sounds pretty comprehensive for a drawing program

This guy is a saint, I love his work. I have the first three collections of Pepper & Carrot in print, plus the art book.

based

this might also be relevant to the interests of Herevans of leftypol: The Morevna Project is working on an animated version of Pepper & Carrot

Look at those subtle creases, the tasteful touches of it. Oh my god it even has fabric detail.

>>2561
Any ideas?

Bumping for interest. Maybe a /cybersoc/ kit would be interesting? Can specific players have their own outfit?

Not yet, no.

what a throwback

>Die getting shot by cops or spend life in jail

>Left wing chinlets

>Join an internationally recognised terrorist militia to fight ISIS in Syria
>Calls well known right wingers out on Twitter and makes them ass mad about a commie doing the thing they claimed they stand for
>Go home and live life happily ever after

I was going to say this too

Just started, decided to follow picrel and begin observational drawing. /ic/ is unfortunately a toxic shithole and 4chan's soykaf engine makes sharing a collection hard.

I only know r/learnart. DrawABox has critique for *their* lessons but having looked at the curriculum I'm not terribly impressed, but I would absolutely do a patreon or fbi server to get regularly critiqued.

hello /draw/ comrades, recently i broke my laptop screen which has touch screen, i've been drawing on that but now it has a slight crack and the touch wont register (???), the joint is also broken so now it's a hassle to use it properly. replacing the screen costs as much as a pen display with better gamut, pen sensitivity, buttons etc etc, but one thing that is bothering me is that they never list the frame rate, i am afraid it will have some stupid low frame rate like 24 or something. so, /draw/ comrades, do you guys have any idea on pen displays' frame rates? is it a good idea to use it as a primary display?

wdym ? u googled the pen displays specsheet and it didnt say anything about framerate?

>>2603
It should have a normal 60hz refresh rate.

>>2614
Yes, literally none.
>>2615
I will take your words on this, cheers pal.

Requesting someone with a good eye for layouts to give feedback on improving this template:
>>>/leftypol/896917

It will be used to make slides for a slideshow-montage video listing neo-fascist groups and their known sex offenders. It's a long list so I need to make a template. Each slide will be on for about 3 seconds, so where the eyes go to is important.

Read that linked post before replying.

What is he singing /draw/?
