I drew a political cartoon, I was frustrated at the news so I drew this, I originally drew Trump on a different day but decided to reuse the sketch for this but I didn’t realize until now that I gave him a Hitlerstache, even when I colored it in I wasn’t thinking and didn’t notice lol

I hold my pencil in a (b) type grip like shown in picrel.
Will the way I hold my pencil negatively affect my attempts at drawing? Should I try learning a different pencil grip, or is the way I currently hold it okay for art?

b/c/d is the traditional grip, that is associated with less hand strain and remains widespread in calligraphy, but most schools teach a/e/f/g, which children tend to develop into a death grip.

How is that even possible lol? Whenever I try to draw in a different grip, it feels so uncomfortable and I can barely even make a straight line. I dont know how anybody would be able to get used to multiple different grip styles, let alone cycle between them comfortabley.

I used to make these alot when I was a full time busker. I'm way out of practice but I'm still happy with it.
