How do you feel about certain "leftists" characterizing artists as porky?

I mean that could be said for litterally any profession.

Also I would like to see filepinos try and write Dutch language literature but whatever.

>>1836
From my point of view as a 3rd worlder anyone bothering to learn a bit of drawing on their own and dedicates most of their time to drawing porn will have a fairly easy life, as long as they sell their art in dollars.

leftypol is stuck in the 19th century and doesnt understand the terms they use not even in a context from back then episode 49,251

>>1908
The amount of artists failing to earn a living in 1st world seems to be way higher than the amount of doctors/lawyers/engineers and other specialists with higher education. Art degree is fairly useless and won't guarantee employment.
>>1909
That's only if you are from a poor country. Artists from rich countries need to earn $2000-4000 a month just to live on par with local unskilled labour. To earn this much you need to be a professional with thousands of followers, which means you belong to top 5% of all artists. Very few artists achieve such income, I use 4chan's /ic/ as an evidence.

It's a pedantic misuse of class analysis. The question should be "Why aren't more artists doing agiprop?"

<just look at thet perspective

>No vertical convergence despite a low angle view

>lines parrallel on the y axis are parallel on the canvas even toward the sides of the canvas, despite our eyes having a slight fish eye effect

1 and 2 point perspective, and even 3 point perspective, is simplistic and unrealistic. It looks unrealistic.

>>1572
also
>weight of the man with the funny hat and the bald man is placed outside of their standing area, making them unbalanced and tip over if it was real
>middle blonde man has eyes super far up his head
>shit lighting, basically video game bright-everywhere lighting with only a little bit of cast shadow

<Here is everything wrong with it
>Well it looks pretty

Yeah thats the point. You dont need to be a 1000 year old art master to make shit that looks good. Just practice

also that painting looks horrible

OK you've convinced me, I just gotta draw and draw and draw and not fixate on my own mistakes or failure to achieve my vision so much and instead enjoy the final product while keeping in mind that I gotta keep practicing.

ITT practice things that you are weak on so comrades can provide constructive criticism.

I don't see reason for such a thread, you could ask for critique in any existing thread. Also, there's not many decent artists on the board and advices FROM beginners are ranging from of little value to outright harmful.

I don’t actually plan my drawings or even take courses
I just draw whatever I can from memory and don’t plan anything out or erase

Ask for and share advice on how to do commissions, prices, etc.
Also post commission info (yours or other artists') if you want

From >>586
>For all you commissionlets out there :3

>first commission ever is scat; I delivered it a few days late, and didn't even have a drawing tablet at the time so it had to be drawn on paper and scanned
my newbie ass should've charged double
>random request I got could've been my second commission ever but instead my inability to say no lead to me drawing a cartoon ghost canine fucking a guy in the ass for free
at least I drew something that day but I really shouldn't have accepted that request, because I was drawing a different piece that I had been working on for years and wasting my day drawing that shit really demotivated me, and to this day the drawing I wanted to finish then hasn't been published
>second commission came years later and my client is my own fucking relative who wants me to draw his NFTs
I mean, at least he can pay for it and it's gonna be nice to get paid that much, but when I converted my prices to my local currency they turned out to be too low. Instead of charging 20-25 US dollars for a fully colored drawing, for example, maybe I should make it 30-35. This drawing doesn't look like it's gonna be that hard either.

How may we apply the counter poise (contrapossa) technique to amogus sculpture? I specifically have in mind the more slight rotation common in classical Greek sculpture
Before the Romans got real extra on it and the Renaissance artists turned it into a windmilling limbs and craning necks free for all. Such is the price of modernist positivism lol
I think the frame of the amogus subject may make this application difficult as it is rather smooth and divisions of the torso are not apparent, nor does there appear to be twisting and bending in the torso from movement, so this is rather atypical of a human subject. I believe we have to carefully study the anatomy and of the amogus and how the joints pivot in locomotion. Perhaps there is something more subtle that is not readily apparent to the human eye. Does anyone have a reliable diagram of a typical amogus subject? I have seen a lot of amogus pornography, but I am of the view that the artistic license is used at the expense of a realistic representation of amogus. Thoughts?

Dangit I had not meant to spoil the files. They are safe for work.

Excellent I am struck with awe. Here we see Faustian amogus in all his glory. Ecce homo amogus. Yet we must go deeper. I long to see contrapossa deconstructed, Amogus ecce amogus. To see amogus through the eyes of god and not of man. Amogus in it's natural form, the unique motion of it's gait as it travels through Euclidian space. I have prepared some materials for scrutiny by our spoudastí̱s.

looked up some anatomy pictures and I think the tailbone would continue outward from the body like on animals with tails. The highest position would be the bottom of the sacrum but the tail bones might leave at a lower position. I didn't see any diagrams of tail muscle attachments on casual searching though, so IDK what the shape of the connection would be like.

Relevant catperson anatomy post >>964

>>882
humans still have a tailbone, so attaching a tail to a human isn't that hard..

>>892
>the tail attaches between the ass cheeks
Are we sure that the're not wearing butplugs?
