My grandpa was an italian immigrant to argentina. He was a gardener, a waiter, a bricklayer… He worked all day, had a family, and on its free time he build his own house alone with one friend while living on the slums in the meantime. That's the reality of our situation anon, we have to sell our labour, but we can get good at it, be more efficent, learn to be strong in life and not surrender our free time to depression because we have to sacrifice minimum 8 hours a day for the motherfuckers. Don't surrender, even if we might fight all the time, in this board we are all with you in spirit of comradery, we understand what it means to despair at the prospect of being a shitty precarious worker for all life, at least i do, and i pass you all my appreciation, understanding, and the small strength i got spare for you. But we still got to move on, and as workers, we got the privilege of truly understanding and genuinely love the small things in life. For me is when i go out with my cousins and my nephew laughs and plays around, when i take a coffe with my grandpa and he tells me his stories. Something as small as going to the local bar, asking for a drink and reading a novel for me, with time, became a fond memory. At that time i was aspiring to some more intense form of pleasure, maybe i am resignated, but i truly remember that time as peaceful and enjoyable, and at least i dont want to kill myself thanks to those little things. Slowly but surely, as we mature out of this childish state we were born into, we will grow strong and maybe the old great ones, like marx, lenin, mao, fidel… maybe with time we can make them proud in the uncertain future, better late than never, but we got to build the conditions in our life, step by step.

use canva pre-made pdf, edit it a bit to your liking, export it as png and then you can add images using paint.net which is a simple and free editing program. Then save what you did as png, and then google png to pdf and use whatever service. when it's time to change, just re-do the process editing the first cv you made on canva, and then selecting and copypasting the images from the old cv to the new cv, very easy because they will be same size so the image will automatically be pasted in exactly the same place as before

Practice a lot. If you get a good interviewer doesn't matter how well you do the problem, but about how cool your are, how communicative you are, and if you can think of different strategies even if they're wrong. Structuring code, naming variables correctly, stuff like this.

Practicing is very important and will give you an edge. Finally it's a numbers game, you need to go through this humiliation ritual several times, and face rejection. Think of it like practice.

Anybody here been a network tech?
I'm in school about to graduate with a degree related to networking after switching over to it when I realized that I hated coding. I'm not expecting to make >40k to start off with, but I'm worried that I don't have enough experience to skip over more help desk stuff (did that last year) and that hating coding will bite me in the ass, since one of my instructors mentioned that the orchestration that lots of companies are turning to is more reliant on coding the control plane than loading up a config onto a switch/router.
I'm also very weak so I don't think going the cabling route will necessarily be a path forward either.
