Here you must post albums that are masterpieces and unknown so we can share excellent stuff we will discover and enjoy.

Here is Omnipotent Youth Society from a band of the same name.

 No.4069

This is just a personal favorite, but Encephalon's "Psychogenesis." The concept is an inherently ridiculous sci-fi goth-industrial album about a blasted desert war planet performed by a band that wears artificial green dreadlocks and platform boots, but it's really textured and rich.

What does everyone think of Jamiroquai, Jungle, and the broader trend of white bongs imitating black-american music? based or shit?

I haven't listened to them that much but that song is banging. I like 90s disco house stuff. I guess I'm more into the French guys. Go check out the comments on any Teena Marie video.

If you want a White bong who's invited to the cookout. Checkout Rod Temperton From Heatwave. He can't sing for shit but he's an absolute legend.

Can you believe it?

Not even taylor swift owned the music she made? Not even rich artists are safe

Are record companies ever gonna die under capitalism

 No.4029

recordings are always owned by corporations. even big artists rely on live show tickets and merchandising
sometimes if they get big enough, like the Beatles or Michael Jackson, they can set up their own company to start buying back masters and licensing rights

they weren't even willing to sell it back to her
they're so petty

they advocated for a devil's contract
she makes an album for her? they return an old one

it's so sick and petty

I mostly listen to Japanese doujin music these days:
m.vk.com/doujinmusic
doujinstyle.com
keymusicboxode.blogspot.com
For the most part I'm happy if I find non-bitraped versions of the songs I want at all… lossy, lossless, piracy, online, physical cd, I'll take anything so long as it's high quality (and I can afford it.)
